Khao Lak Beach on the Andaman Sea is just 80 Kilometers (1 hour) North from Phuket International Airport. The beaches are very quiet and there are no jetskis, parasailing or other noisy watersport activities. All diving & snorkeling trips are conducted in the nearby Similan Islands National park, one of the richest underwater marine parks in the world. From Khao Lak you have the unique possibility to make daily dive trips to Similan without the need to stay overnight on a boat. Raya Divers dive center is close to the Khao Lak center. I think this was Lo Samah Bay but I'm not 100% sure of that but its off Phi Phi Leh somewhere lol. Filmed using a GoPro hd hero with a SRP blurfix adapter and URpro cyan filter. Maximum depth is 16.7m with a water temp of 29c, visibilty 10-15m. The first half of the dive was at 7-10m then we dropped down a little lower to our max of 16.7m in the second half of the video. My angle wasn't spot on with the head cam (pointing down to much) so I didn't get any of the black tip reef sharks on video :( we saw 6 of them during the dive. Shot in r3 720P60 mode and only the boat shots and the first couple of meters on entry and exit have been white balance adjusted the rest is all untouched.
